2023 Food Vendor Application

If you are a new vendor with the San Antonio Highland Games, you must contact us at vendors@sahga.org before submitting your online application so that you can be pre-approved. Food vendor slots are very much in demand and we must make sure that we have a good variety of food offerings. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Food Vendors must provide a certificate of liability insurance with SAHGA and HFA listed as an additional insured for a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage.

The following names and address must be listed as an additional insured on your certificate. (Please use exact wording below)

Temporary Food Facility Permit - For-Profit Vendors:

Vendors selling any food products, pre-packaged or otherwise, will be required to obtain a temporary food facility permit for the weekend. The City of Helotes has an online application process where you can apply for, pay for, and receive the permit yourself. Please visit City of Helotes | Food Permit (Temporary) (helotes-tx.gov) to submit your application NO LATER THAN 1 March 2023.
Please be sure to select 2 day event ($64.30) before making payment. The permit fee of $64.30 (free for non-profit organizations) must be paid at the time the permit is applied for. The festival address to use on the application is: Helotes Festival Grounds, 12210 Leslie Road, Helotes, TX 78023. Please send a copy of the permit to vendors@sahga.org once you receive it. You must maintain a copy of your temporary food permit at your booth during the entire event.
Non-profit organizations selling any food products, pre-packaged or otherwise must obtain a free temporary food facility permit from the City of Helotes. To obtain this contact the Development Services Department at (210) 695-8877.
