The
Greenwoode is an educational group that demonstrates a diverse set of skills which
serves to keep alive the traditional art of craftsmanship in many areas. The Greenwood demonstrates and teaches skills
that have been in use for centuries, but are not taught in today’s schools
making them in danger of disappearing from common use. The skills demonstrated include: making
chainmail, spinning, clothier, pottery, calligraphy, making of bows and arrows
and leather working. You
can find The Greenwoode at various renaissance faires and Celtic festivals
throughout Texas.
