A weekend-long battle of brains, brawn, and banter. Each clan will send champions to compete in fun challenges ranging from Scottish trivia to the hilarious Haggis Toss. Who will earn the title of Clan Champion of San Antonio?
Events Include:
Scottish Trivia- Do you know your clans, castles, and Celtic lore? Test your knowledge of Scotland’s history, geography, and traditions in this quick, fun trivia showdown. Up to three clan reps may participate across three rounds!\
Nessie’s Egg Race-
Balance your “Loch Egg” (a real egg!) on a spoon and race through our wobbly obstacle course. Break it and you’re out — keep it whole and race for glory.
Best Dressed in Tartan- Bring your tartan style to the spotlight! Whether traditional, modern, or outrageously creative, show off your Highland best and win over the judges — and the crowd.
Tartan Challenge- Can you tell a MacLean from a MacKenzie at a glance? Match tartan swatches to their clans and show off your plaid expertise. Anyone from your clan can step up when the challenge begins.
Haggis Toss- Determine the key points of your content and use it as a guide so that there are no mistakes. Grab a partner, grab an apron, and prepare for airborne cuisine! Teams toss a “haggis” (water balloon) using only their aprons. Each successful catch earns a step backward… until the inevitable SPLAT.
Bonnie Knees- Roll up those kilts just enough to show your knees, and let the judges decide whose are the bonniest, funniest, or most charismatic. This Highland classic always brings big cheers!
Sheep Herding- No dogs needed — just sheer skill! Use a broom to herd your mischievous flock of toy sheep into the pen as quickly as possible.
Based on Cumulative Points, One Clan Will Be Awarded Clan Champion!
