Aaron Tilt is a singer/songwriter and author, native San Antonian, and 23 year vet of the San Antonio Fire Department. He's a loving husband, proud dad, avid outdoorsman, and a lover and creator of stories, both set to music and the page. He was inspired to take up guitar and song by his musical family, the church he grew up in, and his parents' classic vinyl collection. He has played around the SA & Hill Country music scene as part of Tilt & Bard in the early 2000s, later on his own, and as Aaron Tilt & The Republic as well as with friends such as Jackson Parten who produced Aaron's EP "Fare Thee Wells & Hand Me Downs". He also has been playing the bagpipes with the San Antonio Firefighters Pipe & Drum brigade since the group's founding in 2004. Aaron's own music blends elements of Texas country, traditional American & Celtic folk, and roots rock.
